Our weekly/biweekly or monthly blister packaging of medications is a very popular service with many of our senior customers who have large quantities of medication or have trouble remembering to take their medications. This service helps ensure that our patients receive the optimal dosing and compliance of their prescription medications.
The Compliance Packaging includes:

• A regular medication review by the pharmacist, which is sent to their doctor with comments for possible changes.
• Special packaging and labeling to suit the customers individual needs.
• Free regular delivery of new packages and pick-up of all unused medication.
• Alerting of doctor when suspected adverse reactions, allergies, and or side effects of any medications.

Madigan Pharmacy & Compounding provides free blood pressure monitoring as an essential component to health maintenance. High blood pressure (HBP), also known as hypertension, can lead to serious health problems by damaging your arteries, heart, and other organs.

Because HBP is often symptomless, its presence often goes unnoticed.

• Madigan Pharmacy & Compounding recognize the importance of properly disposing of medications, needles and other medicine-related supplies.
• We accept:
• Expired Prescription
  Unused prescription
  Over-the- counter medications for safe disposal.
  
  These medications are safely incinerated, preventing them from entering landfills, sewers and the environment at large. We request that, whenever possible, you remove drugs from their packaging and place them in a clear plastic bag, and recycle the packaging appropriately, before bringing medications to the pharmacy for disposal. Medications in blister packs and forms of liquid and cream medications can also be included in the plastic bag. Please be sure to remove any personal identification.
• Recycling of vials, bottles and lids:
• If you are unable to recycle your lids, bottles and/or medication vials, or you prefer to return unused or expired medications in their original packaging, we will happily recycle them for you.
  
  Please be sure to remove personal information by taking off the label or by using a marker to black out personal information.
• Diabetic Needle Disposal Program:
• Filled the containers and return it to us and we will dispose of the contents in a way that is safe for the public and the environment. Please note that these must be returned in the approved container to avoid potential harm to anyone handling the container.
  
  It is important to dispose of any medication that is twelve months or older, remove any medication not in its original container, and remove duplicates of OTC medications where the older medication is rarely used.

Madigan Pharmacy & Compounding Medication Review provides an opportunity for you to sit down one-on-one with our Pharmacist to help identify and resolve common medication-related issues so you can get the most benefit from your medication.
